Contact from a friend early in the New Year...
It's been a few days since the start of the new year, but the Facebook group I've been creating with my bonfire buddies has been very active lately. The first weekday bonfire of the year has not been decided yet, but on January 2nd, I received this message while touring.
- "Since New Year's Day, I've been touring a private sale vehicle in Nagoya, where I got to check it out and drive it for a bit."
- "That was super good. I'm trying to figure out what to do with it...."
- "By the way, this is what I went to see."
TRIUMPH's THRUXTON 900 cab specification
Just a few hours later... "I said I'll buy it!!!!"
I heard that.
The current car is injected, but he was looking for a carbureted car. His current SR is a cafe custom with FCR carb and Yoshimura muffler.
The Triumph he was looking at also had an FCR carb with a stock option ARROWS muffler, and although it had a bit of mileage on it, he could tell from the exterior that the owner had taken good care of it.
I've seen the pictures and I'm so jealous. The car is located in Nagoya, so he plans to have it inspected and then drive it back on his own, but the chat is full of customization fantasies.
tour of cats, shrines and temples
Speaking of me, I've been focusing on my third son (cat) since the end of last year, deciding on his treatment plan and taking care of him. On Saturday, I went on a tour of shrines and temples related to the cat's health.
I'm an atheist, but I thought I'd find an appropriate place to pray, and my ex-family who accompanied me wanted to do the same.
It wasn't so cold and the weather was nice, but I wanted to go by myself instead of riding my bike around, so I took the train. On the way, I ate a baked sweet potato at a store specializing in baked potatoes for the first time in a long time....
It was my first time eating hot and sour powder, and I found a restaurant that specializes in it as well.
This weekend is another three-day weekend, but I have a feeling I won't be touring. However, the odometer is getting longer and longer because I'm riding the bike back and forth between my home and my ex-family and cat's house in Yokohama. I'll have to change the oil soon, it's reached 25,000km.
