We woke up early and went to Nagai Shokudo to eat motsu-ni (stewed pork cutlet) and then went to Lake Okushimanko.
I woke up early and got on the Kan-etsu and went touring in Gunma!I couldn't wake up at the time when I could do that (everyday).
As soon as I woke up, I got a call from Rough & Road saying that the inspection of my Ninja 650 was finished, and I was going to ride it today.
So we left at noon, a stable time. Naturally, I don't have enough time to go to Gunma... So we took the usual... Or rather, the same course as last week, from Tomei to Odashi.
The temperature was quite high. We took our first break at Odawara PA, but the weather was not so good. According to the forecast, there was no need to worry about rain... We continued on to Hakone. We took the Hakone New Road instead of the Turnpike today. There was a lot of traffic, and it was almost like a traffic jam, but I was able to stay in line with the traffic, only moving forward a little when there was an uphill lane.
I was thinking, "I can overtake the slowest boss truck in a few more cars... I thought to myself as I was running. In front of me were two medium-sized motorcycles, probably a Gixxer SF250 and a current GSX250R. They looked a little unreliable even from behind, maybe they were touring for the first time after getting their license... I thought to myself, "Maybe they're touring for the first time since they got their license..." as I followed behind them (flag).
Collect the flag after filling up with gas.
After climbing to the top, we continued on Route 1.Biker's Paradise South Hakone, where I went once before.I thought I'd take a peek at it, but I didn't remember where it was, so I just drove along and the road started to go down. I looked down and saw the gas warning blinking on the meter.
And the blue sign."16km to Numazu"I felt like I was already out of Hakone. I stopped at the first gas station I could find and filled up with gas....
We took a break at Roadside Station Hakonetoge, climbing up the same road we came down earlier. The weather wasn't great, so we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, but Lake Ashinoko was beautiful.
So I took a bottle of afternoon tea (milk tea) out of my seat bag and was taking a break, when two cars that looked familiar came in. (Collecting flags)
These are the Gixxer SF250 and GSX-250R that were on the Hakone Shindo road earlier. It looks like they just came in for a meeting about where to go, but it's still a little dangerous... As I was looking at them... When I was looking at them... one of them was trying to get out of the road station and got stuck!...
The other person couldn't get off the bike quickly enough, and the one who knocked him over couldn't seem to get the bike up by himself, so we rescued him.
After I woke the bike up, he kept saying things like, "Oh, I did it...", so I talked to a veteran Yamaha TW rider who was resting next to the GSX-S1000, and he said, "You probably just bought that thing. I guess you just bought it. You've finished breaking in the exterior. When I was talking to him, he said, "Huh?"wow"It's a rental bike because of the license plate number. That." And... I'll have to pay for repairs when I return it... Don't fall behind, young man.
A view of the GSX-S1000 by the lake
After taking a break at the roadside station, we stopped by Lake Ashinoko, which looked beautiful from the roadside station.
This place isFirst time renting a GSX-S750This is the place I stopped by when I was in Japan. Yes. My personal memorial site for bell fungus infection.
It is a fast liter bike in the direct lineage of the GSX-R, but with a weight of only 200kg, it feels like it can go anywhere. The engine has a flavor that you will never get tired of. I used to think I didn't like the look of the bike, especially the headlight, but since I've had it, I've seen it so often that I've gotten used to it.
And after looking at the GSX-S1000 by the lake, we went to Daikan-zan.
Fuji could be seen vaguely through the clouds. After this, we went down the turnpike....
I'm tired of driving wind.
When I came down, I took another break.
I was strangely tired this week as well as last week. Of course, it's because I'm still not used to riding the GSX-S1000... But...When I rented the GSX-S1000FI took the Ninja 650 to Mito to rent a bike, then rode straight to Nikko, returned the bike in Mito, and rode straight home... But I didn't feel so tired... And I had this chat with a friend...
Enjoying the hydrangeas (but behind the turnpike toll booth toilets)
After that, it was time to go home. The same as the outward journey, we took the Tomei highway from Oda-Atsu. There was some kind of accidental traffic jam near Machida in Yokohama, so I took another break at Ebina SA. I passed the time by chatting with an acquaintance of mine, a girl in her 40s, about something unimportant like, "If you wash your face with a Kumano brush and moisturize it before going to bed, your skin will be plumper the next morning.
By the way, I noticed this fatigue when I was driving on the Tomei highway where the traffic jam had cleared near the Yokohama Machida Interchange."travelling wind"This is due to the fact that... I didn't feel the same way on the other naked bikes I've rented recently, such as the Z1000, MT-09 and SR400. I think it's because I didn't distinguish the fatigue from the tension that comes from being a rental bike.
I'm thinking of adding a meter visor when I get the LED round eyes, but I don't have any plans to do anything about it.
