I'm not touring today.
Late Sunday night when I was planning to go out somewhere tomorrow... Or rather, 2 AM on Monday. An emergency line call from a former family member. So I rushed out and went to Coco first....
In the morning, I called my doctor's office. It's by appointment only, but I asked them to schedule me for the afternoon treatment....
Yesterday, we were relieved because we had a definitive diagnosis, a treatment plan, and after all, it took away her pain....
After repeated naps in the car and on the flooring of the cat apartment... My back feels broken.
It's not because it's hot that I'm not touring (emphasis added).
Like the Ninja 650, it has LED lights for a brighter ride.
On the Ninja 650, I'm using Pro-Tech's LED transplanted from the Ninja 400.The GSX-S1000 also has halogen headlights when hung. Not only is it not bright enough, but the color is different from the standard LED position lights here, which is super annoying.
I'm going to have my car inspected next spring, so I'm going to proceed with a customization to change the headlights to round eyes....
For now, I'll keep the current shape. The other day I decided to install a cheap LED bulb.
I've been shopping.。
SphereLight RIZING Alpha.
The other day at theNothan Lake TouringInstalled the day before. For now, mark the current cut line with tape....
BikeBros's pageRemove the screws while looking at them: .... After removing 8 screws with...
Accessed the valve and connector part in the blink of an eye.
It's 100 times easier than the Ninja 650, which has a full cowl and is difficult to work on without removing the gauges.
It seems that the headlight unit can be removed by simply unplugging the position lamp connector and the headlight connector, but the ETC antenna is installed inside the cowl and it's too much trouble to rewire it, so I'll just work on it for now. It took me some time to remove the lock that holds the bulb in place because of my old eyes....
The bulb came off. When I put them together with the LED bulbs I bought, I found that they were the same size as the bulbs I bought.
The low-cost SphereLight RIZINGα that I purchased this time does not require a control box or anything like that, so I only need to replace the bulb.
It takes only 15 minutes to replace the bulb. Bright white headlights are super easy to make.
So, I put the cowl back together....
It was so easy to convert the headlights to LED bulbs. The cut line isn't as clean as I'd like, and I think it's slightly upward, but it's acceptable. The LED bulbs are clearly wider in the side illumination range, so I think it will give me more peace of mind when cornering at night.
There are a variety of simple LED bulbs that can be easily replaced, from dubious Chinese bulbs to those sold by domestic manufacturers that you can get at mass retailers, but I was satisfied with the SphereLight RIZING Alpha. If I have the chance, I'd like to try the DAYTONA one that has a built-in fan.
In addition, I messily put a sticker on it (unsuccessfully).
I finished the work quicker than I expected, so I put some stickers on it too: a Ninja 650 and a solo Clay Smith transfer sticker.
The place to put it... Maybe here....
And here... I wonder if it's possible....
Oh, well, I'll just stick it up! (Big mistake.)
It's already there. Weird positions & bends.
I'll have to peel it off and start over... Then, I got back on track and stuck the other side neatly and finished.
