Plans for GW
I learned the name while hanging around the web in early March.Tsugaru-Iwaki Skyline. I couldn't stop the itch, so I booked a hotel for the GW period from my phone that I was playing with in bed late at night.....
That's why we are going to have our first Tohoku long touring in the second half of GW....... If I don't get any urgent work ..... I'm sure you'll like it.
I'm an IT guy, so there are times when I'm assigned to work during the holidays in the name of tweaking the environment we normally run in...... I'm sure they won't suddenly turn it into a project after mid-April, but....
Long touring to an area where you are not familiar with
Okay, basically. The type of person who doesn't do much route planning before touring. It's me.
Even when touring overnight, I would decide on one or two places I wanted to visit, and then think about the rest while riding, including the course. However, there are many spectacular views and events that I can encounter thanks to this.
I googled it and found that it was close, so I dropped by.
A bird-filled station we passed on our New Year's touring trip
New Year's touring this yearI woke up in a hotel in Hamamatsu. I woke up in a hotel in Hamamatsu and said, "I'm going to take a ferry from Cape Irago to Mie Prefecture......" I decided to cancel my plan and started to go around Lake Hamana. So I googled for interesting places nearby, and ended up here.
If you don't do your research beforehand, you will be shocked when you come across this scene.
Atera Valley from Gifu during summer vacation
Gifu touring when we went to see Monet's Pond.I had a great time in Gifu, so I went back to Gifu for another overnight tour. On the second day, I started off with a comment from a rider friend of mine who saw my real-time post on Facebook, "I recommend the Seseragi Kaido.
So I took a detour to Shimokuri no Sato on my way back to my house, but I thought, "I'll have to walk quite a bit to get a great view there..... I thought, "I don't want to go hiking alone," so I googled it on the spot and made a detour there.
Here itself. "Ninja! I'm back!" BlogWhen I was taking a break, I was scrolling through the map looking for the next stopover point and found it within 50km, so I decided to stop by.
I've been to Oshino Hakkai and Kakitagawa Spring Water Group, but both are too touristy for me. This was the most beautiful river I've ever seen..... I want to go there again!.....
I'm sure the individual locations are places that I've known about for a long time, or that I can find by Googling at home, but there's a difference between going there as a destination with high expectations and going there as a destination with low expectations."drop in for a short visit"The latter has a greater impact than the former.
Also.
I thought it would be boring if I decided on a course and ran it like that, so I wouldn't run into any interesting problems.
Examples of troublesome things that I encountered because I was running at random.
On the way back from Monet's Pond. I rode my bike down to the riverbank and got stuck in a dead end.
We visited Monet's Pond early in the morning and ran along the Nagara River. It was the end of May and the weather was getting warmer, so I wanted to go down to the riverside and take a break...... But it was the opening day of the sweetfish fishing season on the Nagara River, so all the places where you can go down to the riverbank were full of people and cars. In such a time, I found a gravel road to the riverbank and got off the bike......
If it were Mastu, we wouldn't be able to say, "Let's ride our bikes down here," would we?
The paved forest road that we entered at random became a full-fledged unpaved forest road.......
I enjoy well-developed scenic roads such as the Venus Line, Izu Skyline, and Shiga-Kusatsu Highland Route, but I also love narrow, looping routes in the mountains that no one ever takes. At this timeSecond day of overnight touring for the purpose of completing the second stage of breaking in the Ninja 650.At that time, I was driving through a mountain pass that I found on the map on my phone, but the road that started down the pass turned into a dirt road......We drove our new car down a road that stretched for more than 10km without passing anyone, breaking into a cold sweat.
I googled it later and found that this route is"A forest road recommended for off-road vehicle beginners, bears will also appear."The way they introduced me was like.
By the way, after this, I had my first fall in my third year of return, but I guess the fatigue from this road must have affected me.
I'm going to draw a route.
So, Tohoku. I've been to Gunma, Nagano, Gifu, and Toyama area by motorcycle many times before, so I had some kind of familiarity with the area, but I've never been to the Tohoku area north of Fukushima, except for going to Sendai by car to eat beef tongue and oysters. I don't have any land knowledge at all......
Of course, I don't plan to make a rigid schedule, but it will be a long trip of 4 days and 3 nights, and I need to decide the route to some extent, otherwise my old man will get tired in the second half. I'm thinking. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do it, but I'm sure I'll be able to do it.
So I started to think about the route for the first day. I'm thinking of starting from the Bandai-Azuma Skyline, so I'll take the expressway to Fukushima Prefecture, but after that, I'd like to go down the road to the inn I've reserved in Akita if possible. So this is what I'm thinking.
In addition to the two spectacular roads, Bandai-Azuma Skyline and Chokai Blue Line, to get off the main national highway, I was looking at the map right now and said, "Hmm? I've heard of it before?" I thought, "Hmm, I've heard of that before? Since it's 300km from my house to the Inawashiro Bandai Kogen IC, which I set as the expressway stopover, it's a decent distance of about 650km per day for touring without passing through urban areas. Hmmm. It's fun to study the route in advance.
By the way, the forecast for this weekend is for rain on both Saturday and Sunday, so it looks like we won't be able to do any touring......orz
