Since I got my large size license, I have rented touring or test rode quite a few. In the order I rode them.
14 cars in about 9 months. I've driven about 4,000km in total. I'm surprised.
I've already booked a rental YAMAHA XSR900 for next weekend. As for the GSX-S1000F, I'm going to try to find a test-ride event where I can ride some distance on the turnpike.
Did you have a bike you wanted right away?
I've ridden cruisers, naked, adventure, mega sports, and tourers, and was quite impressed with the Harley-Davidson 883N IRON the other day, but what I want as my main model is"Tourer with cowl"I reconfirmed that it was.
The only problem is...There was only one bike I was willing to trade my Ninja 400 for....... This is the place.
What's more.That model is the Ninja 650..........
I didn't switch because I knew the new model would be announced soon, but if I hadn't, I probably would have switched (to the ABS version in the same livery as my current Ninja 400).
Why not?
No, of course, they're all clearly better motorcycles than the Ninja 400. Other than BMW and Ducati, which seem to be luxury items in terms of price, and MV Agusta, TRIUMPH, DAEG, and Hayabusa, which I didn't feel comfortable riding (for my purposes), you will definitely find your motorcycle life more comfortable and fulfilling.
What originally made me want a large bike was its performance on the highways I use for touring between the city center and my destination, and the room to comfortably ride over 500km a day. The Ninja 1000 in particular has been a major priority for me, and I've been watching for information on the new model since before it was announced.
But when I returned all my bikes and switched to the Ninja 400."I'm used to riding."So, even if I subtracted that, I felt like, "Oh, this is good enough." This is it.
My original complaint about cruising in the overtaking lane on the highway has not been as frustrating as it used to be, perhaps because the engine has gained some bite, or perhaps because I switched to WAKO'S oil. On the other handDriving after getting off the highway in a large"It's too fast, and it's too stressful to try to run at a legal speed (plus an extra amount for going with the flow)"feelingI'm sure you'll agree with me (except for the 883). ..... One of the joys of the Ninja 400 is that you can't really push the engine around....... In the end, the only thing that excites me is the overwhelming feeling of acceleration in the first few seconds after starting: .....
Then there's no reason to buy a big tourer.......
It's too thin.
In fact, I had already planned to reserve the first batch of the new Ninja 1000, but after renting the 883 the other day, I decided not to do so, and decided to keep my rental bike membership, which I had also reserved at the store with the intention of cancelling it when I returned the 883.
In the meantime, I'm planning to take the new Ninja 1000 for a test ride as soon as it's available in stores.........
Now, what's going to happen?
